Dr Ian Seddon
Ian qualified as a dentist in 1989 at Manchester University and then undertook a postgraduate period of elective study at UCLA.
His concentration on implant treatment sprang from his experience as a general dental practitioner in the early 1990s, where he saw the benefits offered by implants. He initially worked with Hilt Tatum, one of the forerunners of implant dentistry, and researched the implant techniques and innovations in the UK, America and Scandinavia.
In recent years he has worked exclusively on dental implants, and is one of the more experienced implant practitioners in the UK. He has lectured in the UK, Europe and internationally on implant treatment, and acts as a clinical mentor to fellow dentists. He is a clinical consultant for AstraTech, one of the world’s leading Implant Technology Providers and Renishaw plc, a dental manufacturer.

- Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry
- International Congress of Oral Implantology
